Effortlessly Add A Google Map To Any Page
Hello! If you're a new visitor, you may want to subscribe to the RSS feed, it will keep you up-to-date!
You’ve probably gone onto various websites, checked out the contact details page and found a Google Map there. They’re pretty damn nifty but if you have a look at Google’s instruction section they’re pretty damn complicated to set up. if you just design websites either for yourself or others you probably don’t want to spend the time trying to learn their API, especially when you just want to add the map now, not later.
Well, all is not lost. Those good people over at WebAssist have a nifty little extension for DreamWeaver called Pro Maps for Google and it does what it says on the tin… Within DreamWeaver you just run the Pro Maps for Google wizard then just input the address, decide upon the marker ( a flag, a push-pin, a house etc) decide whether you want to have driving directions to the destination (which makes it perfect if you’re say showing a map of an event away from the regular base). Once you’ve done that, decide how big a map you want, and you’re done!
The plug-in will take care of all the coding, you just upload it to your site and that’s it. Professional maps like the big players, no mess, no fuss!
Just check out these features and see for yourself just how feature packed the Pro Maps for Google DreamWeaver extension from WebAssist is:
